Taxus x media 'Runyan' is commonly referred to as Runyan Media Yew. It is a dense, low-growing, multi-stemmed, spreading evergreen shrub with handsome, fine textured, dark green foliage with good color retention throughout the year. It is easy to grow and relatively low maintenance. It can be pruned at any time.
Runyan Media Yew thrives in both sun and shade in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It does not consistently tolerate wet areas. It is ideal for hedges, screens, borders and foundation plantings.
