Juniperus chinensis 'Hetzii Columnaris' is commonly referred to as Green Columnar Juniper or Hetzii Juniper. It is a vigorous, fast-growing, upright, pyramidal, evergreen conifer with crisp, dark green needles on dense, tight branches. Foliage retains good color in winter. Its round, blue-purple berry-like cones are often highly ornamental.
Hetzii Green Columnar Juniper thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is an excellent specimen for topiary or as as a background or large screen.
