3-4 Feet Tall 3-4 Feet Wide--
Picea pungens 'R. H. Montgomery' is commonly referred to as the Montgomery Spruce or the Montgomery Blue Spruce. It is often confused with Picea pungens 'Globosa'. The R. H. Montgomery Spruce is a classic dwarf conifer with a slow growing, mounding, broadly pyramidal habit. It features powder blue needles on dense, compact branches.
The Montgomery enjoys full sun in rich, slightly acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It will not grow well in shade or in wet soil. If you love the Colorado Blue Spruce but do not have the room, this is the Spruce for you!
