Diervilla splendens Firefly™ Nightglow™ ('El Madrigal') PP28060 is commonly referred to as Firefly™ Nightglow™ Bush Honeysuckle. It is a smaller, multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a mounding habit that features bright yellow, trumpet-like flowers in early summer which contrast nicely against its reddish-purple foliage which turns darker red in fall. Flowers attract all kinds of pollinators to the garden.
Firefly™ Nightglow™ Bush Honeysuckle enjoys full to part sun. It is very adaptable and can thrive in average soil conditions and moisture levels. It does not tolerate urban pollution. It is ideal for mixed borders and container gardening.
