ROBINSON CRABAPPLE -

Malus 'Robinson' is commonly referred to as Robinson Crabapple. This showy deciduous tree has four seasons of interest. It has an upright, spreading habit and features single, deep pink, fragrant blooms in spring which are followed by red persistent fruit that appear in fall and winter. Flowers and fruit attracts bees, butterflies and birds. Foliage in early spring has an attractive red tint that creates a two-tone hue that contrasts nicely with its bright green foliage. In fall the leaves turn vivid orange.
Robinson Crabapple is hardy and has good disease resistance. It thrives in full sun in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
