SYRINGA MEYERI STD PEKINENSIS
Grower Notes:

Syringa meyeri 'Pekinensis' is commonly referred to as Pekinensis standard lilac. This is a Meyeri Lilac on a Pekinensis standard. It is noteworthy for having beautiful exfoliating copper-colored bark and fragrant, creamy white flowers in late spring and early summer. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Foliage is dark green leaves that are ovate and 2-4" long.

The Pekinensis tree lilac is hardy and thrives in full or partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soil. It prefers a minimum of four hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight each day. It can be drought tolerant once established.
