Justicia Brandegeana is commonly referred to as the Shrimp Plant. The name is reminiscent to how the flowers present themselves - they look like colorful shrimp! This unique and showy tropical shrub has bright salmon pink flower-like bracts that can bloom nearly year-round in warmer winter regions (Zone 9-11).
Shrimp Plant thrives in full to partial sun in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
