RUBUS IDA MEEKER
Grower Notes:

Rubus idaeus 'Meeker' is commonly referred to as Meeker Red Raspberry. It is an easy to grow red raspberry shrub with large, firm, sweet red raspberry fruit with sturdy canes and a few thorns. It has been developed for its resistance to fruit rot and root rot and is an aggressive grower. It usually flowers in May with a strong July harvest - just in time for delicious summer pies, tarts and jams.

Meeker Red Raspberry is self-pollinating and thrives in full sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It benefits from a trellis to grow on for added support along with extra water during hot summers.
