Prunus fruticosa x prunus cerasus 'Juliet' is commonly referred to as Juliet™ Bush Cherry. This self-fertile dwarf cherry tree or large shrub features dark red to nearly purple fruit that can be used in cooking, preserves, wine-making, canning or eating fresh. The cherries have a wonderfully sweet flavor with a 20-Brix sugar level. Flowers appear mid spring with harvest in early to midsummer. It is self-fertile but does pair nicely with the Romeo™ Dwarf Cherry. When paired, the two dark-sweet cherries really extend your harvest with larger yields.
Juliet™ Cherry Tree thrives in full sun in evenly moist, well-draining soils. It will not tolerate standing water.
