PINUS STROBUS DIGGY
Grower Notes:
Pinus strobus 'Diggy' is commonly referred to as Diggy Dwarf Eastern White Pine. It is an evergreen tree with an irregular broad pyramid, dwarf habit with tight, finely textured, short needles that have an open branch habit. It usually has a second growth push in late summer which adds to its unique look, providing heavily-congested lighter colored needles at the tips which contrast nicely with its other darker green needles. It can reach 4-6 feet in height in approximately 10 years.
Diggy Dwarf Eastern White Pine thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Makes a great container specimen!
