DWARF SERBIAN SPRUCE

Picea omorika 'Nana' is commonly referred to as the Dwarf Serbian Spruce. It is a widely planted selection featuring a beautiful, dense, globose habit. Its dark green needles are flipped and upright showing white bands which provides a unique silvery aura. Its shape transforms from globose to densely conical-pyramidal over time.

The Dwarf Serbian Spruce thrives in full sun in moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It is ideal for small spaces whether in the ground or in containers.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune annually to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
