PHILADELPHUS MNSOTA SNOWFLAKE
Grower Notes:
Philadelphus x virginalis 'Minnesota Snowflake' is commonly referred to as Minnesota Snowflake Mock Orange. It is a multi-stemmed, rounded, deciduous shrub with upright arching branches and very fragrant, double white flowers that bloom in late spring or early summer. Its foliage is serrated oval green leaves that do not develop any notable fall color.
Minnesota Snowflake Mock Orange thrives in full sun to partial shade in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It should not be allowed to dry out. The more sun it receives, the more flowers it will produce. It blooms on previous year's growth so prune immediately after flowering. It is tolerant of urban pollution and can thrive in city environments.
