Paeonia x Itoh 'First Arrival' is commonly referred to as First Arrival Itoh Peony. This intersectional peony is a cross between tree and herbaceous varieties and is one of the earliest Intersectional Peonies to bloom. Noteworthy for its beautiful semi-double lavender-pink blooms that have a darker pink center. Flowers attract butterflies to the garden - blooming mid spring on strong, erect stems.
First Arrival Itoh Peony is deer and rabbit resistant. It thrives in full sun in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Perfect for cottage gardens, beds and borders.
