The Arnold Tulip Tree has an upright, columnar habit that is ideal for tight, narrow spaces. It features unique, emerald green leaves and yellow-green, tulip-like flowers with streaks of orange and gold that appear in late spring through summer. Foliage turns an attractive golden yellow in fall. Showy, furrowed, gray bark adds to winter interest.
The Arnold Tulip Tree enjoys full sun and average to moist, well-drained soils. It is a fast-growing tree and tolerant of urban pollution. It will thrive in city environments as long as it receives the space it needs to thrive.
