LAVANDULA IMPERIAL GEM
Grower Notes:
Lavandula angustifolia 'Imperial Gem' is commonly referred to as Imperial English Lavender. This beautiful selection has a compact, upright habit with fragrant, silvery-green foliage and upright purple flowers in June. It provides a striking contrast to the foliage. It has a long-lasting bloom and repeat bloom and looks stunning in the landscape. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.
Imperial Gem English Lavender is deer resistant and thrives in full sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. Lavender is beautiful in the landscape, but also makes an excellent cut flower - both fresh and dried.
