LARIX DECIDUA
Grower Notes:

Larix decidua is commonly referred to as European Larch or Common Larch. It is a large deciduous conifer tree that drops its soft needles at the end of summer. It has a pyramidal form with horizontal branching and drooping branchlets. Glossy green foliage turns a beautiful bright yellow in fall. Small, conical cones, emerge red and turn brown when seeds mature.

European Larch is a fast growing, hardy tree that thrives in full sun in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It does not tolerate very wet or very dry soils. It makes a wonderful specimen plant for large areas.
