Ilex meserveae 'Blue It' is commonly known as Blue It Holly. It is a female Holly with bright red fruit and spiny-margined, broadleaf evergreen foliage. Ribbed stems are purplish green throughout most of the winter.
Blue It Holly thrives in full sun to part shade in slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soils. Prune in winter as needed to maintain shape.
