LETS DANCE® SKY VIEW® BIGLEAF HYDRANGEA

Hydrangea macrophylla 'SMNHSME' PP34327 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Lets Dance Sky View® is commonly referred to as Sky View® Hydrangea. This big leaf hydrangea is a hardy selection that not only conserves its old wood buds in the winter months, but also continues to create new ones! It is easy to grow, turning blue or pink depending on your soil type. Add aluminum sulfate to your soil to encourage blue flower color.

Sky View® Hydrangea thrives in partial sun in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining, rich soil protected from the hot afternoon sun. For pink and blue Hydrangea macrophylla varieties, bloom color is pH-dependent; keep soil slightly acidic for blue tones or adjust toward neutral for pink. White varieties remain stable regardless of pH. Water consistently to maintain soil moisture, as this variety is sensitive to drying out. Mulch around the base to keep roots cool and moist.
