HIBISCUS LUNA RED
Grower Notes:

Hibiscus moscheutos 'Luna Red' is commonly referred to as Luna Red Hardy Hibiscus or Luna Red Swamp Rose Mallow. It is a compact and well-branched deciduous shrub that features dark green leaves with whitish undersides and dinner plate sized, holly-hock-like flowers that are deep burgundy red. It has a large number of flowers on one plant and each flower lasts for one to two days and continues until late in the season. They attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees and other beneficial pollinators.

Luna Red Hardy Hibiscus is deer resistant and thrives in full sun in fertile, organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Ideal for beds, borders, patio and containers.
