Helleborus x hybridus 'Dark and Handsome' is commonly referred to as Dark and Handsome Lenten Rose. It is part of the Wedding Party® series and boasts large dark purple double flowers in early to mid-spring. Glossy, dark green evergreen foliage contrast well with the near black flowers.
Helleborus 'Dark and Handsome' enjoys partial shade to full shade in organically rich, moist, well-drained soils. It benefits from a sheltered spot away from drying winter winds. Ideal for borders, woodland and cottage gardens and containers.
