Fargesia rufa 'Green Panda' is commonly referred to as Green Panda™ Bamboo. This vigorous, clumping bamboo features attractive rusty red sheaths and a non-invasive root system. It is a shorter Bamboo, reaching only about 8 feet in maturity. It has handsome non-curling green leaves with a fountain shaped, clumping habit.
Green Panda™ Bamboo is very cold hardy and thrives in full sun in rich, acidic, well-drained soils.
