Grower Notes:

The Dawyck Beech is a dense, deciduous tree with an upright, columnar growth habit. It has attractive serrated green leaves that turn bronze in fall.

The Dawyck Beech thrives in full to part sun in average to evenly moist, well-drained, rich soil. It does not tolerate standing water or wet sites. Beechnuts that fall in autumn are a favorite with all types of wildlife.
