Echinacea purpurea 'Green Envy' PPAF is commonly referred to as Green Envy Coneflower. This particular flower is so beautiful and unique that it does not look real. It boasts a dark cone that contrasts with lime green flower petals that have a light purple tint towards the center that makes it truly glisten in the sun. It is a hummingbird favorite and ours too!
Coneflowers are an eye-catching and popular perennial for many reasons. They are easy to grow and are heat and drought tolerant. They flower all summer and attract all kinds of birds and pollinators. They typically thrive in full sun, but if your summers are hotter than Hades then they could use a bit more shade and water to prevent burning.
