CORNUS ALBA BUDS YELLOW
Grower Notes:
Cornus alba 'Bud's Yellow' is commonly referred to as Bud's Yellow Dogwood. It is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more rounded form reaching 6 feet tall and wide. It is noteworthy for its vivid yellow stems and attractive clusters of creamy white flowers at the ends of branches in late spring. Foliage is green in summer, turning yellow in fall. Showy white berries form in mid-summer adding an additional layer of interest.
Bud's Yellow Dogwood thrives in full sun to partial shade. It easily tolerates both wet and dry locations and is not particular to soil type. It is tolerant of urban pollution and can thrive in city environments. This easy, adaptable shrub is ideal for mass plantings, hedges, screens and general landscape use.
