HEATHER BUN WHITE CEDAR
Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Heather Bun' is commonly referred to as Heather Bun White Cedar, White Cypress, Atlantic Cedar or Swamp Cedar. It is a dwarf, rounded evergreen shrub with soft feathery blue-green foliage that turns a vibrant plum purple in winter. At maturity it reaches close to 7-8 feet tall and 4-5 feet wide.
It is native to freshwater swamps, bogs and woodland areas that stay moist.
The Heather Bun White Cedar is easily grown in full to part sun in moist, fertile, well-drained soils.
