TENNESSEE PINK REDBUD
Cercis canadensis 'Tennessee Pink' is commonly referred to as Tennessee Pink Eastern Redbud. It is a compact, deciduous tree with masses of pea-like deep pink flower clusters that cover bare branches in early spring. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Heart-shaped, dark green foliage follows and turns shades of yellow in fall.
Tennessee Pink Redbud is generally pest free and easy to grow. It requires little pruning and is deer resistant. It thrives in full sun to partial shade in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
