UPRIGHT EUROPEAN HORNBEAM
European Hornbeam is also referred to as the Upright European Hornbeam. It has a narrow, fastigiate habit when young and an oval to vase shape as it matures. It is slow-growing and quite tolerant of a wide range of soil types as long as it is well drained. It has yellow-orange fall color and interesting smooth gray bark with ripples.
