The Emerald Avenue® Hornbeam is a vigorous and easy to grow deciduous tree that has a short trunk, a dominant central leader, and a narrow, oval habit. It maintains a healthy deep green foliage even in the heat of summer that ages to yellow in fall. Its smooth, gray bark adds another interesting look to this tree in winter. The Emerald Avenue® makes an ideal street tree that stands up to the heat.
