Green Mound Boxwood is a cold hardy, compact, broadleaf evergreen shrub with a spherical habit. It is similar to Buxus 'Green Velvet' but more rounded in its natural form. It will bronze slightly in winter, especially when exposed to direct sunlight.
Green Mound Boxwood is deer resistant and thrives in full to partial sun in average, well-drained soils. Annual pruning may be necessary to keep its compact shape and style.
