LO & BEHOLD® BLUE CHIP JR BUTTERFLY BUSH

Buddleia 'Blue Chip Jr' is commonly referred to as Lo & Behold® Blue Chip Jr. It is a smaller version than the 'Blue Chip' with attractive silver-green leaves and more intense indigo blue flowers and an earlier bloom time for more color through the growing season. Fragrant and reblooming from mid-summer to frost.

Blue Chip Jr Butterfly Bush enjoys full sun and slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. A Proven Winners® COLOR CHOICE® selection.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in fertile, well-draining soil, as this genus is particularly sensitive to root rot in water-logged conditions. Select a site with full sun, as maximum light exposure is critical for strong stem development and consistent flower production. Prune in early spring to remove dead wood and stimulate vigorous new growth, which ensures the plant remains compact and floriferous. Water regularly during the first growing season until established and consider deadheading throughout the summer to encourage a secondary flush of blooms.
