AETHUSIFOLIUM GOATS BEARD
Aruncus aethusifolius is commonly referred to as Dwarf Goat's Beard. It is a compact, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial that is ideal for rock gardens or border fronts with its attractive fern-like, dark green leaves and Astilbe-like plumes of tiny, creamy white flowers in late spring. In fall the much-dissected leaves turn a very showy orange and yellow.
Dwarf Goat's Beard thrives in partial sun in rich, fertile, organic, evenly moist to wet soils. It prefers areas that are somewhat shady and moist. Perfect along steams and ponds as well as containers kept on the moist side.
