AQUILEGIA CANADENSIS
Grower Notes:

Aquilegia canadensis is more commonly known as Eastern Red Columbine or Wild Red Columbine. This upright, branching woodland wildflower perennial is noteworthy for its nodding, bell-like, red and yellow flowers with upward spurred petals and numerous long yellow stamins hanging below the petals. Flowers attract hummingbirds and other pollinators to the yard and its compound green leaves are just as attractive.

Eastern Red Columbine is easy to grow and care for. It thrives in partial sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Ideal for naturalizing woodland areas as it freely self-seeds and will naturalize to form large colonies over time.
