ENDOWMENT SUGAR MAPLE
Endowment Sugar Maple is a hard-wooded deciduous tree with a columnar habit that is well suited for street tree plantings. Its crown is very narrow (10 feet) and uniform making it fit into tight spaces easily. Tiny yellowish-green flowers appear in spring before leaves emerge. Dark green foliage matures to yellow, orange and red in fall.
Endowment Sugar Maple is a relatively low maintenance tree, but it does need a rich, well-drained soil in full sun to thrive.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Select a site with full sun and well-drained soil to support its tight - columnar growth habit and vibrant fall color. Dig a hole two to three times the width of the root ball and set the tree so the root flare sits slightly above the soil surface to ensure healthy root development. Backfill with native soil, water thoroughly to eliminate air pockets, and apply a 3-inch layer of mulch while keeping it clear of the trunk to protect the bark.
