ACER RUB BOWHALL
Grower Notes:

The Bowhall Red Maple is a upright, narrow, deciduous red maple tree that makes an excellent street or parking lot tree due to its shapely, narrow habit of only 15-18 feet. It is more narrow than other Red Maples such as the 'Red Sunset' or 'October Glory'. In its growing season, serrated, dark green leaves in summer turn yellow, orange and red in fall. Furrowed silver bark and red branches add to its winter interest.

The Bowhall Red Maple is native to low, wet areas in the eastern US and Canada and will thrive in full sun and evenly moist, acidic, well-drained soils. It is intolerant of alkaline soils.
