ACER PAL EMPEROR I
Grower Notes:

The Emperor I® Japanese Maple is an outstanding, upright, wide-crowned tree that features dark purple-red leaves that are slightly darker than the Bloodgood Maple and has more leaf retention. Foliage holds its deep color well in sun or shade. In fall leaves turn deep crimson and as they fall, reveal blackish red bark that is quite attractive.

The Emperor I® is a low maintenance ornamental tree that thrives in full sun or part shade. It enjoys moist, organically rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. This is a favorite of many and quite a stunning specimen.
