Abies alba 'Pyramidalis' is commonly referred to as Upright Silver Fir or European Silver Fir. It is an elegant fastigiate evergreen conifer with deep green needles with silver undersides on a narrow form. In summer, decorative dark reddish cones appear which add to its appeal.
Upright Silver Fir thrives in full sun in fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Protect from drying winter winds the first year after planting.
